'King of Pedo' pleads guilty to enticing minor

A man who called himself the "King of Pedo" and listed his hobby as "seducing little sweeties" pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to enticing a minor for sex. Christopher D. Brandlon, 49, of Portland, Ore., was arrested last May after he flew in to Atlanta to meet with an undercover agent posing as the mother of a 3-year-old girl. [...]

"[He] actively encouraged and empowered others to sexually abuse children all across the country," U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said in a statement Thursday. "Getting him offline [He ran a pedoforum.] and off the streets sends a strong message to his followers and others who subscribe to his abhorrent pedophilic views." [...] The minimum sentence for the crime is five years in prison; the maximum penalty is 30.
