A record one in four girls are having underage sex, a shocking new survey revealed yesterday. Some 27 per cent of 16 to 24-year-old women admitted to having intercourse before the age of consent. That compares to just four per cent of women aged 55 to 69 who said they had sex before the age of 16 - sparking fears of the growing sexualisation of young girls. The figure was lower in 16 to 24-year-old men at 22 per cent, compared with 15 per cent in 55 to 69 year olds.
