A notorious pedophile has been arrested for allegedly writing child pornography while in prison. He was arrested earlier today by Sexual Crime Investigation Branch detectives. It is alleged he wrote a story that described fictitious boys performing sexual acts. He is the second South Australian prisoner to be charged as part of a police investigation into pedophiles producing child pornography in the state's prisons.

The state's most notorious pedophile, Bevan Spencer von Einem, appeared in court late last month on similar charges. Both men have been accused of handwriting pornographic stories about boys, which were found during searches of their cells. He appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court this afternoon and was remanded in custody. He has been charged with one count of possessing child pornography, which carries a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment. Police said the pornography was restricted to hand written material and did not include photographs. Their investigation is continuing.
