Remembering Doucé

My only contact with Pasteur Doucé was during the International Lesbian and Gay Association Conference in Vienna in 1989. After the initial shock of meeting someone there wearing a suit and a priest's dog collar (with an appropriate calm and self-assured manner to match his cleric's clothing), I soon found him to be charming and easy to talk to. I didn't realize then that I was talking to one of the founders of ILGA, nor the full of extent of the work done in France by his organization, Centre du Christ Libérateur (CCL).
