A schoolgirl wept as the senior music teacher she 'still loves' was jailed for four years yesterday over their forbidden affair. Craig Parkin, 26, began the illicit 18-month relationship when the girl was only 14, taking her to his house and for country drives. [...] After the case, East Riding Council's director for children Alison Michalska said: 'Parkin was fully aware what he was doing was both abusive and criminal.' [...] He has been banned from working with children and will be on the national sex offenders register for life.
