Zones of no touch

No touching. That's the rule at the private pre-school, where a couple dozen kids congregate each day. This is where children, 3 and up, come to learn numbers, letters, primary colors and, most important of all, socialization. But there's no touching. It's too easy, after all, to transmit germs to one another - at least that's what the owner says. It's a health issue. But most parents who bring their children know the real reason - touching leads to trouble. Welcome to the new world, where we teach our kids love, trust, caring and compassion - but tell them not to touch each other, and not to let others touch them. Ever.
