Parents have been warned, taking pictures of their naked babies and children and posting it to social media sites is a criminal offence. The National Authority (NPA) views this as a form of child pornography. [...]

Advocate Bonnie Currie-Gamwo says the law clearly outlines this as a criminal offence. "It's irrelevant what the purpose was for taking the picture. But any image of a naked child is child pornography and the reason for that is quite simple; it can be abused. What you do innocently, others take and they abuse it."
