I am a 56 year old gay man who was illegally targeted, and wrongfully convicted of 5 counts of producing and distributing child pornography in Lake County, Illinois while I was a resident of Texas. The 8 images they used to charge me, including the 5 used to convict me were not child pornography even under the standards in the statutes they used to convict me. The images were from the Internet (I had nothing to do with their production) and they were still captures from adult videos and magazines sold legally all over the country. I had court appointed attorneys who did everything possible to help the prosecution and I am now trying to file a Federal Habeas Corpus brief in Federal Court. These idiotic homophobes were able to railroad an innocent person into prison for 11 years (I spent 5 years incarcerated and I am still on parole) for a crime that never happened.<br>
