[The House of Lords [United Kingdom] voted against the lowering of the age of consent for gay people. Gay sex is allowed at eightteen while hetero sex is allowed at sixteen years of age. The House voted to lower the gay age of consent to sixteen: against: 222 and pro: 146. Rejected.]
