Outrage at Hurley's leopard-print bikinis for children

Surrounded by a sea of leopard print, this is Elizabeth Hurley launching her latest swimwear collection. But posing against a makeshift beach scene and beside three young children, the model's new range - bikinis and swimsuits designed for girls aged 2-10 - has sparked outrage amongst concerned MPs and children's charitable organisations.

With the collection purposely mirroring garments in her women's collection, there are fears that the leopard-print designs are unsuitable for pre-pubescent children. Last night, Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe hit out at Miss Hurley's latest project, for what she termed, the 'sexualisation' of children. She said: 'Oh dear, dear me. This is dreadful. 'It represents the sexualisation of children which is very dangerous indeed as well as being very undesirable.
